I needed a simple laptop repair and my unit seemed to take up residence in a well-known big box’s repair shop. When I finally got it back, the fix was not sufficient because some functions still were not performing. One phone call later and Geeks Mobile sent a person out in a timely manner. They proved to be very capable and fixed my remaining issues. Now, I only trust these guys with my laptop lifeline.
We did not know anything about computer networking, so Geeks Mobile designed our system for us. They gave us an estimate for parts and labor that was lower than other quotes we had gotten and we had them do the installation. They know what they are doing and they are reliable, so we are glad to be able to give them a good testimonial.

A 100-gigabit highway for science: Researchers take a 'test drive' on ANI testbedClimate researchers are producing some of the fastest growing datasets in science. Five years ago, the amount of information generated for the Nobel Prize-winning United Nations International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report was 35 terabytes —- equivalent to the amount of text in 35 million books, occupying a bookshelf 248 miles (399 km) long. By 2014, when the next IPCC report is published, experts predict that 2 petabytes of data will have been generated for it—that's a 580 percent increase in data production. Because thousands of researchers around the world contribute to the generation and analysis of new data, a reliable, high-speed network is needed to transport the torrent of information. Fortunately, the Department of Energy's (DOE) ESnet (Energy Sciences Network) has laid the foundation for such a network -- not just for climate research, but for all data-intensive science.
First-ever model simulation of the structuring of the observable universeAstronomers have performed the first-ever computer model simulation of the structuring of the entire observable universe, from the Big Bang to the present day. The simulation has made it possible to follow the evolution of 550 billion particles. This simulation, along with the two additional runs expected by late May 2012, will provide outstanding support for future projects dedicated to the observation and mapping of the universe. These simulations will shed light on the nature of dark energy and its effects on cosmic structure formation, and hence on the distribution of dark matter and galaxies in the universe.
Your passwords don't suck, it's your policiesA developer has created a password analysis tool that examines patterns to determine password strength and concludes password-creation policies are the real enemy of solid passwords.
